The End of Freedom and the Start of Smartness

Well, summer is quickly coming to an end. Detasseling has been pretty good.  It’s a tiresome job, but you work, you get paid, it’s life. I’m planning to get a laptop with my paycheck ^^ I want one for my own personal use and so I can put all my stories and ideas and all that fun stuff on there. It’s pretty exciting ^^ I’m actually pretty excited about school starting soon too. A new year, new skills to learn, new ideas for the future…Same old stupid classmates ^^ It’s the good life…Sorta. I’m totally ready to do my best this year! I’m determined to make each year better than the last ^^ And, for the sake of my Pastor (^^), my goal is to study at least 3 hours every evening after school. I want to do well in school not only for a good record, but for the sake of getting into a sweet college ^^ I kinda want to be an English major or possibly an engineer, at least, that’s what my dad wants me to get into. I’m actually good with formulas. And according to my dad, “you use formulas out the wazoo!” ^^ I’m slow when it comes to math, but I am freakishly accurate which, when it comes to mechanical engineering, is crucial. But, English writing, books, poetry, spelling, all of it, it’s all my passion ^^ I love the English language. It’s so…so…neat ^^ Lol, I’ll have to work on my vocabulary a little bit, but that’ll come in time. Anyway, I’ve got quite some time to think about this sort of thing, so I’ll worry about that at a later date. Well, I’m afraid I must retire for the night, friends. I have work in the morning, so I should be well-rested for the upcoming day ^^ Good night, Earthlings ^^
